Jason Buys
Jason Buys joined Harrigan Price Fronk & Co., as a staff accountant in June of 2007. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon. Jason grew up in the town of Canby, Oregon, located 15 miles south of Oregon City on Highway 99E. After high school, he joined the US Navy and trained as a combat medic for the Marine Corps. For the next ten years he traveled the world serving with Marine Corps infantry units. He participated in Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm as well as other conflicts around the globe. Injuries caused his separation from military service in 1998. He then applied and received his nursing license and went to work for the Department of Veteran’s Affairs, opening the VA clinic in Bend. After five years with the VA, Jason decided to go back to school to become an accountant. Jason is active in his church and loves spending time with his family. He likes to hunt, fish and recreate here in Central Oregon. He is looking forward to obtaining his CPA license and growing his practice. Jason plans to pursue a fraud certificate after becoming certified. He is a member of the Redmond Community Church, Veteran’s of Foreign Wars and the Disabled American Veterans.
