Albert Colombo, CPA
Al Colombo grew up in the small town of Myrtle Creek
in the Umpqua valley of southern Oregon. In 1999, he received his bachelor's
degree in business administration from the University of Puget Sound in
Tacoma and in 2003 he received his post-baccalaureate Accounting Certificate
from Portland State University.
Anxious to put his education to work, he joined the staff
of Harrigan Price Fronk as a staff accountant in December 2003. After close to
eight years living in Portland and Seattle, coming back to a smaller community
felt right. It was important to Al that he begin his career with a firm that
offered the opportunity to learn and experience a full array of accounting
services. It was a bonus for him to find that opportunity in a city like Bend.
Starting with the firm just as our busy season got underway, we’ve been pleased
to show Al the ropes on a wide variety of financial statements audits and
business and individual income tax returns.
Now that he has the
CPA exam behind him and has received his license to practice
in Oregon, Al is looking forward to exploring central Oregon. He enjoys
golfing, mountain biking, camping and other outdoor activities,
as well as the occasional Texas Hold 'Em tourney in his free time.
